A. A weight gain or loss of 10 pounds or more will require a new fitting of prescription stockings. Properly measured and fit stockings are necessary to ensure the proper amount of compression is being held on treated veins. Properly fit stockings improve your results and prevent complications, such as phlebitis and hemosiderin staining in the treated veins.

A. Although the preferred standard for leg vein treatment is now Asclera injections, some of my patients still respond better to traditional saline treatment.
