What is Cellulaze™?

Cellulaze™ is a laser procedure that is done to break up the structure of tight connective fibers underneath the skin that results in the development of cellulite. This minimally invasive treatment provides effective results.

Is Cellulaze™ right for me?

Cellulaze™ is best for women with mild to moderate cellulite on their buttocks and thighs. This procedure uses a small cannula that delivers laser energy to break up connective fibers, which cause cellulite to form. Patients will notice a considerable reduction in cellulite after treatments.

Does Cellulaze™ work?

Cellulaze™ has been proven to provide safe, effective results for patients who have tried other treatments without results, including special massage therapy and even topical creams. Results are consistent when patients use Cellulaze™.

How invasive is this procedure?

Cellulaze™ is minimally invasive and uses small incisions in the skin to ease the cannula in to break up the fibers. Patients do not need to stay in the hospital or undergo general anesthesia, as local anesthetics are all that are necessary to make patients comfortable.

Do I need several treatments?

Results are achieved with just one treatment of Cellulaze™. Patients will find that not only will they notice considerable improvement right after their procedure, but results will continue to improve over the next year.

What is necessary for recovery?

Cellulaze™ is a minimally invasive treatment but there are still after-care instructions that patients should follow. It is normal to experience some bruising, redness, and tenderness in the area for a day or two after treatment, and compression garments may be suggested for up to a week after treatment to enhance the results. Patients may also want to visit with Dr. Christine Lee for a follow-up appointment to make sure the incision areas are healing appropriately.
