Andrew, Dental Assistant

I joined dentistry because of the impact on patients’ lives. I have been in this field since 2010 and I have had the opportunity to work with multiple specialists. I have served as a lead dental assistant as well as a clinical manager since 2012. I aspire to be a dentist, and I am currently enrolled in Georgia State University.
When I am not working, I love to travel and spend time with family.
Lashanna, Dental Assistant

I became a dental assistant in 2015. I am inspired to eventually become a hygienist. Working for Tyrone Family Dentistry has really broadened my horizons. I want to further myself in the dental field with all the knowledge and wisdom that I've obtained. It will definitely enrich my future in becoming a dental hygienist. I go above and beyond to assure that patients feel as comfortable in our practice as they do in their own homes. Many people find dental treatment scary, and I want to do everything I can to help ease those fears.
I am a loving mother to my little boy. I have learned in my experiences of parenting to handle each situation with the sincerest and heartfelt approach possible. Outside of work I like to cook, ride horses, and hang out with friends and family.
Tara, Treatment Coordinator

I have been in the dental field for almost ten years. I enjoy helping patients understand insurance and their treatment needs, when scheduling their appointments.
I am married, with one daughter. She loves to play travel softball which keeps me very busy. We are members of Liberty Life Church, which we are trying to help grow by being active with the youth group.
Dana, Patient Coordinator

I have worked in the dental field since 2002. I started as a dental assistant, and made the transition to the business side a few years ago. I love this field because I enjoy helping people – not only to achieve beautiful smiles, but also educating them on how to maintain their health.
I am bilingual, as I was born in Spain. I am a mother to a teenaged daughter, who is my whole world.
Heidi, Practice Manager

I have worked in the dental field for over five years. Before that, I was a hairstylist for 21 years. I owned and managed various salons, and built my business based on making personal connections with clients. I love people, and what drives me every day is changing how they feel about themselves for the better. That is also what I love about the dental field. I like knowing that we are not only changing how someone views him or herself. We are improving their overall health as well!
I have been married to my husband more than 14 years, and we have two children who definitely keep us busy! Our favorite things are taking weekend trips to either the mountains or the beach. Our dream is to eventually live in St. Simons, Georgia. When we are not traveling, we love to work on DIY remodeling projects at our home.
Aracelly, Dental Hygienist

I moved here from Colombia in 2000. My career began as an expanded duty dental assistant in 2005. Passionate about the dental field, I furthered my education and obtained an Associates of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from West Georgia Technical College.
Outside the office I enjoy traveling and attending music events.

I am a wife and a “dog mom” to my three-year-old Great Dane. I love to travel and will try anything once. "Seize opportunities!” My goal is to pursue all of my passions and to find JOY in each day.
