Benjamin N. Lockshin, MD FAAD

In addition to private practice, Dr. Ben is actively involved in resident education. He currently leads monthly didactic case reviews for the residents at Georgetown/Washington Hospital Center and in 2012, Dr. Ben was awarded the Resident’s Teaching Award at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Ben has published numerous peer reviewed articles and has written a number of book chapters in dermatology. He regularly gives lectures on pertinent topics locally and nationally.
Dr. Ben Lockshin specializes in treating patients with psoriasis and he is currently conducting clinical research trials at the Clinical Trials Center at DermAssociates. He is a board certified dermatologist and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. He is also an active member of the Washington, DC Dermatological Society and served as the society’s past president.
Dr. Ben has been recognized as one of the Washingtonian's top dermatologists and was voted by his peers as one of the top dermatologists in the Washington Checkbook magazine.
