If your dentist simply takes one impression and sends it off to the lab, you will likely get a poorly fitting appliance. It might irritate your cheeks, or fail to support them enough to correct the sunken-faced appearance that is associated with the loss of teeth. It might fit well when your mouth is closed and relaxed, but become uncomfortable when you yawn, smile, eat, or speak.
 

These are just a few examples of factors that an impression alone won’t address – and they are just a few of the many things that we consider when we design a new denture. We do not rely on a single impression. We take a series of them, to ensure accuracy and consistency. Finishing Touches

However, we will refine your appliance further, making additional adjustments if necessary. Our dentures are not completed in a matter of days.
