" I am glad that I was granted the opportunity to praise this office. Being a person that never felt good about seeing a doctor, I wait with anticipation about seeing Dr. Seymour Weaver and staff. You guys make me feel comfortable and give me hope that my problem will be cured. Most of all, the staff relaxes me with their sweet smile, great sense of humor, and soothing conversation. If I have to complain about anything, it would be that I didn't discover you, your staff, and my treatments any sooner. Keep up the good work!!!!"

Liposuction- A Quick Way to Remove Unwanted Body Fat

Sometimes no matter how hard a person works there will remain a place on their body where fat deposits just won’t go away. When diet and exercise are just not working, or they are not working fast enough, it may be that liposuction is the way to go. Fat removal using liposuction is a tried and true way to get rid of these stubborn fat deposits in the body.

Liposuction is the most commonly performed cosmetic procedure done in the United States, and using tumescent local anesthesia to perform the procedure has made it possible to have only a few days of downtime in recovery and then be back in the swing of their life with their new more shapely body becoming apparent over the next several weeks to a couple of months depending upon the volume of fat removed.

Unwanted diet and exercise resistant fat can be found on a person’s face, arms, legs, abdomen, hips, thighs, and just about anywhere on the body. Different people will find that these unsightly deposits can occur just about anywhere that can have subcutaneous fat build up but oftentimes these areas can be programmed by hormonal or hereditary factors.

The procedure to remove these deposits uses very small instruments called microcannulas which are inserted into the stubborn collections of fat and in combination with vacuum pressure is used to aspirate out the unwanted fat. Because the microcannulas are slender the fat removal process is smoother and more even with minimal risk for bleeding, causing the patient to look great.

Performing the procedure using tumescent local anesthetic has proven to be the safest way to perform the operation and it provides the patient with a painless surgical experience while the experience and competence of the doctor insures that there is no need for anxiety. The results are immediate and permanent.

A person who is considering liposuction must be sure that this is what he or she wants prior to beginning the process. He or she must be willing to follow the doctor’s instructions and take the care that is needed as with any surgical procedure. Again, this is a safe operation generally performed under a local anesthetic either in the office surgical suite. Persistent fatty deposits can be taken care of quickly and safely leaving the patient with the figure he or she truly deserves.
