
Dr. Sarah Pella graduated from Texas A&M University May 2016. She has a special interest in neurology, dermatology, and internal medicine. Dr. Pella was very active during veterinary school. Aside from her studies, she served as president for the Student Chapter of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and Veterinary Students as One in Culture & Ethnicity. She also completed an outside course in Diversity and inclusion in Veterinary Medicine through Purdue University and spent over a week in Haiti treating over 800 animals.
During her last year of veterinary school, she received the Veterinary Cancer Society Award for Proficiency in Clinical Oncology. She met her husband, Dr. Justin Pella, while in veterinary school when they were assigned to be anatomy partners. They have two Australian Shepherds and a Miniature Dachshund. They are also expecting their first child this fall. Dr. Pella enjoys camping and hiking with her family, cooking with her husband, and reading.
