During this unsettling time, we wanted to reach out to our patients and reassure you of our commitment to maintaining a safe, clean environment at Noble Cosmetic Surgery, because providing a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff has been our top priority. Additionally, please take note of the following:
  • As a cosmetic medicine facility, we typically do not service sick patients. Our patients are electing to have procedures that are not medically necessary, so your risk of running into an ill patient is lower than that of other healthcare facilities.
  • Our surgeries and other treatments are performed in our private facilities that are used purely for elective treatments.
We continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and are actively following the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) as well as our local, state and federal government agencies. Our usual guidelines include universal precautions, frequent handwashing, and frequent sanitizing of all patient areas. For the most up-to-date information, please check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website about this evolving situation, how to reduce the risk of spreading illness, travel health notices, and more.

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Currently, as the coronavirus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person, we have now adopted several enhanced safety measures to decrease the risk of exposure to you and the community which include the following:
  • Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use the hand sanitizers provided when you enter our offices.
  • If you are feeling unwell or anyone in your household may have been exposed to COVID-19 through travel or attendance at large gatherings less than two weeks ago, please call us at your earliest convenience so we can reschedule you!
  • If you need to cough or sneeze, do so into the crease of your elbow, and then immediately wash your hands.
  • Know the symptoms of Coronavirus: tiredness, fever, weakness, shortness of breath and diarrhea. This virus is lower respiratory focused, so you may not have upper respiratory symptoms like a runny nose, sore throat, and congestion.
  • Take these additional preventive actions to stop the spread of germs-(wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces).
We hope that each of you will stay safe & healthy as we navigate this complex situation together.

Sincerely,
Dr. Obasi & his staff at Noble Cosmetic Surgery

Body

Body procedures like mommy makeover, tummy tuck, lower body lift, and liposuction are some of the most popular cosmetic surgeries today. Dr. Patrick Obasi at Noble Cosmetic Surgery in Plano, Texas, and Desoto, Texas is here to discuss goals and help set expectations so patients can get the new body that they’ve been dreaming of. With Dr. Obasi’s help, a whole new look can be just a few weeks away.

Body

Mommy Makeover

In a mommy makeover, Dr. Obasi performs surgery on the parts of your body that were negatively affected by pregnancy. This procedure includes abdominal surgery like a tummy tuck, back lift, liposuction, and scar revisions for C-section scars.

Many mommy makeovers also include breast surgery. Often a breast lift to restore breasts to their pre-pregnancy position.

Tummy Tuck

A tummy tuck is an abdominal surgery that eliminates extra skin and fat from the belly area. A tummy tuck addresses the below-navel area while a reverse tummy tuck focuses on the above-navel area.

Reverse Tummy Tuck

A traditional tummy tuck addresses the area below the navel. A reverse tummy tuck involves removing fat and skin from the area above the navel. Both procedures are similar in how they’re carried out.

Liposuction

Dr. Obasi can perform liposuction on nearly any part of the body where you have unwanted fat. The most popular areas for this type of fat removal are the mid-section or belly, the thighs, the upper arms, and the back..

Circumferential Body Lift

A circumferential body lift is also called a lower body lift. In this procedure, Dr. Obasi removes the extra skin and fat from the abdomen, hip, buttocks, and thighs. Many patients who opt for this surgery have lost significant weight, so it’s a popular procedure among bariatric surgery patients. This surgery may also be appropriate for women after pregnancy or for anyone who has excess skin in their mid-body area.

Brazilian Butt Lift

In the Brazilian butt lift, Dr. Obasi performs liposuction on an area where you have extra fat. After processing the fat to remove any impurities, he injects it into the buttocks area to create a curvier look. Because the body reabsorbs some of the transferred fat, it’s usually best to combine this fat transfer with butt implants.

Brachioplasty

A brachioplasty, commonly referred to as an arm lift, is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin from the underarm area and tightens the remaining tissue to achieve a firmer contour of the arm.

Scar Revisions

While not all scars can be completely removed, Dr. Obasi strives to make your scars as invisible as possible. Depending on the severity and location, he uses one or more surgical and nonsurgical techniques to address the size, shape, color, depth, and location of the scar. His goal is to reduce the scar’s noticeability while avoiding further damage to the surrounding skin or the scar itself.

Butt Augmentation

Butt augmentation can be achieved in a few different ways, but the most common practice is to supplement the area with implants to make it appear larger and fuller. In some procedures, Dr. Obasi can harvest fat from other areas of your body and inject it into the buttocks region to add plumpness. For patients with little fat to draw from, however, an implant augmentation procedure is a good option.

Fat Graft

A fat graft procedure involves using cells or tissues harvested from your own body to augment areas where your skin has lost volume. Tissue is taken from areas where fat is more readily available, such as the abdomen, buttocks, or thighs. It’s then liquefied and injected into areas that need it.

Vaginal Rejuvenation and Vaginoplasty

Childbirth, genetics, and age can all contribute to a loosening of the vaginal wall. Fortunately, women today can remedy this problem with easy cosmetic procedures. Both Vaginoplasty and Vaginal Rejuvenation are offered at Noble Cosmetic Surgery in Plano, Texas.
