During this unsettling time, we wanted to reach out to our patients and reassure you of our commitment to maintaining a safe, clean environment at Noble Cosmetic Surgery, because providing a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff has been our top priority. Additionally, please take note of the following:
  • As a cosmetic medicine facility, we typically do not service sick patients. Our patients are electing to have procedures that are not medically necessary, so your risk of running into an ill patient is lower than that of other healthcare facilities.
  • Our surgeries and other treatments are performed in our private facilities that are used purely for elective treatments.
We continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and are actively following the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) as well as our local, state and federal government agencies. Our usual guidelines include universal precautions, frequent handwashing, and frequent sanitizing of all patient areas. For the most up-to-date information, please check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website about this evolving situation, how to reduce the risk of spreading illness, travel health notices, and more.

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Currently, as the coronavirus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person, we have now adopted several enhanced safety measures to decrease the risk of exposure to you and the community which include the following:
  • Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use the hand sanitizers provided when you enter our offices.
  • If you are feeling unwell or anyone in your household may have been exposed to COVID-19 through travel or attendance at large gatherings less than two weeks ago, please call us at your earliest convenience so we can reschedule you!
  • If you need to cough or sneeze, do so into the crease of your elbow, and then immediately wash your hands.
  • Know the symptoms of Coronavirus: tiredness, fever, weakness, shortness of breath and diarrhea. This virus is lower respiratory focused, so you may not have upper respiratory symptoms like a runny nose, sore throat, and congestion.
  • Take these additional preventive actions to stop the spread of germs-(wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces).
We hope that each of you will stay safe & healthy as we navigate this complex situation together.

Sincerely,
Dr. Obasi & his staff at Noble Cosmetic Surgery

Endoscopic Brow Lift

The muscles in your forehead are constantly getting a good workout. Since they’re responsible for all your facial expressions, they’re also prone to lines and wrinkles. At Noble Cosmetic Surgery in Plano, Texas, an endoscopic brow lift can bring sagging eyebrows back to a perky position. Dr. Patrick Obasi and his team specialize in cosmetic procedures for men and women that take years off your face.

Endoscopic Brow Lift Q & A

The main benefit of a brow lift is that it lightens the look of a heavy, sagging lower forehead ― which can sometimes make you look tired or angry. The procedure also helps to eliminate forehead wrinkles and deep furrows in the center of the brows.

After a successful brow lift, most patients look brighter and more alert, their eyes are more visible, and they may appear to have a happier resting facial expression, which makes them more approachable and confident.

With this type of procedure, the risk of side effects is minimal, and recovery is fast. Scars are tiny and hidden in the hair line. Results can last ten years or more.

Dr. Obasi’s main goal with the brow lift procedure is to achieve the results you’d like by repositioning the brow line. The procedure is performed in-house, at our sterile surgery center. It typically takes one to three hours to complete these steps:

  • Dr. Obasi administers an IV sedation to help you relax and numbs your forehead
  • He makes a few small incisions at the hairline
  • He inserts an endoscope – – a tiny camera – – to see under the skin via a live feed
  • Using special instruments, he lifts your forehead skin and adjusts underlying muscles
  • If necessary, Dr. Obasi removes excess skin and closes your incisions with sutures

Most patients have some residual swelling and bruising, but return to normal activities within two weeks.

You may need to take prescription pain medication for a few days, and Dr. Obasi might also advise you to limit or avoid certain activities until you’re fully healed.

While an endoscopic brow lift procedure delivers long-lasting results, gravity pulls on the skin over time, which is normal with age. You can maintain the results of your brow lift by staying healthy and practicing good skincare habits. This will ensure you enjoy your refreshed, pleasant, and youthful appearance for years to come.
