During this unsettling time, we wanted to reach out to our patients and reassure you of our commitment to maintaining a safe, clean environment at Noble Cosmetic Surgery, because providing a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff has been our top priority. Additionally, please take note of the following:
  • As a cosmetic medicine facility, we typically do not service sick patients. Our patients are electing to have procedures that are not medically necessary, so your risk of running into an ill patient is lower than that of other healthcare facilities.
  • Our surgeries and other treatments are performed in our private facilities that are used purely for elective treatments.
We continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and are actively following the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) as well as our local, state and federal government agencies. Our usual guidelines include universal precautions, frequent handwashing, and frequent sanitizing of all patient areas. For the most up-to-date information, please check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website about this evolving situation, how to reduce the risk of spreading illness, travel health notices, and more.

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Currently, as the coronavirus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person, we have now adopted several enhanced safety measures to decrease the risk of exposure to you and the community which include the following:
  • Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use the hand sanitizers provided when you enter our offices.
  • If you are feeling unwell or anyone in your household may have been exposed to COVID-19 through travel or attendance at large gatherings less than two weeks ago, please call us at your earliest convenience so we can reschedule you!
  • If you need to cough or sneeze, do so into the crease of your elbow, and then immediately wash your hands.
  • Know the symptoms of Coronavirus: tiredness, fever, weakness, shortness of breath and diarrhea. This virus is lower respiratory focused, so you may not have upper respiratory symptoms like a runny nose, sore throat, and congestion.
  • Take these additional preventive actions to stop the spread of germs-(wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces).
We hope that each of you will stay safe & healthy as we navigate this complex situation together.

Sincerely,
Dr. Obasi & his staff at Noble Cosmetic Surgery

Facelift Or Tuck

Who doesn’t want to put their best face forward? While there are plenty of nonsurgical treatments to pick from these days, a traditional facelift procedure or tuck are still long-lasting solutions for a younger, fresher-looking face. Dr. Patrick Obasi of Noble Cosmetic Surgery helps men and women in Plano, Texas, achieve the perfect facelift or tuck, so you’re confident and radiant in your own skin ― no matter your age.

Face Lift Or Tuck

Facelift or Tuck Q & A

A facelift procedure or tuck is exactly what it sounds like: the skin is surgically lifted, so you have the appearance of a more taut and firm face and neck region.

The facelift used to be a more simple procedure, and patients could only expect results to last about a year. Advances in cosmetic surgery and technology, however, have made it possible for you and Dr. Obasi to customize the perfect lift or tuck for your skin, your face shape, and your lifestyle. These newer methods provide deep tissue support and more durable results.

Since there’s no one-size-fits-all face-lift solution, Dr. Obasi may use one or more techniques to achieve the results you desire:

  • Mini facelift. Also known as a “short scar” lift, incisions are hidden in the hairline behind the ears.
  • Mid facelift. Addresses the area from cheekbones to jowls, with most incisions inside the mouth for minimal scarring.
  • Full facelift. A mini or mid-facelift, with additional attention to sagging and excess skin on the neck.
  • MACS. Another short-scar technique with low risk of complications and a shorter recovery period.

When you opt for a facelift procedure, you can expect to achieve specific results, including:

  • Tighter skin on the face and neck
  • Improved appearance of deep wrinkles
  • Increased plumpness and volume in the face

What Dr. Obasi does during the actual procedure may vary, depending on what your goals are. A typical facelift procedure will start with anesthesia preparation, after which he makes an incision, usually along the hairline, starting at your temple and ending at your lower scalp. If you have extra skin under the chin or on your neck, Dr. Obasi might also make an incision there.

Mini-lifts may only require small incisions, while a neck lift usually requires a larger one.

After the incision, Dr. Obasi repositions and sculpts the underlying fat and muscle of your face and neck, pulls and redrapes the skin over your face, and cuts excess skin away. When this is done, he closes the incisions with stitches or adhesive.

If you don/t want to go under the knife, Dr. Obasi offers many non-surgical facelift or tuck procedures, including:

  • Injectable neuromodulators (like Botox and Dysport)
  • Dermal fillers
  • Chemical peels
  • Laser resurfacing
  • Platelet rich plasma therapy
  • Kybella (a treatment that eliminates double chin)

These minimally invasive facial procedures may be used to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, lift sagging skin, or improve the skin’s texture and tone.
