During this unsettling time, we wanted to reach out to our patients and reassure you of our commitment to maintaining a safe, clean environment at Noble Cosmetic Surgery, because providing a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff has been our top priority. Additionally, please take note of the following:
  • As a cosmetic medicine facility, we typically do not service sick patients. Our patients are electing to have procedures that are not medically necessary, so your risk of running into an ill patient is lower than that of other healthcare facilities.
  • Our surgeries and other treatments are performed in our private facilities that are used purely for elective treatments.
We continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and are actively following the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) as well as our local, state and federal government agencies. Our usual guidelines include universal precautions, frequent handwashing, and frequent sanitizing of all patient areas. For the most up-to-date information, please check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website about this evolving situation, how to reduce the risk of spreading illness, travel health notices, and more.

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Currently, as the coronavirus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person, we have now adopted several enhanced safety measures to decrease the risk of exposure to you and the community which include the following:
  • Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use the hand sanitizers provided when you enter our offices.
  • If you are feeling unwell or anyone in your household may have been exposed to COVID-19 through travel or attendance at large gatherings less than two weeks ago, please call us at your earliest convenience so we can reschedule you!
  • If you need to cough or sneeze, do so into the crease of your elbow, and then immediately wash your hands.
  • Know the symptoms of Coronavirus: tiredness, fever, weakness, shortness of breath and diarrhea. This virus is lower respiratory focused, so you may not have upper respiratory symptoms like a runny nose, sore throat, and congestion.
  • Take these additional preventive actions to stop the spread of germs-(wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces).
We hope that each of you will stay safe & healthy as we navigate this complex situation together.

Sincerely,
Dr. Obasi & his staff at Noble Cosmetic Surgery

Laser Tattoo Removal Q & A

Many patients consider laser tattoo removal when they are ready to have an unwanted tattoo addressed. Laser tattoo removal requires several treatment sessions to get the best results. It is often more desirable than paying to have a tattoo coverup completed. Our practice uses the Enlighten III laser handpiece that can effectively break down ink pigmentation and fade unwanted tattoos. In addition, this same device is used for laser hair removal and laser skin rejuvenation at Noble Cosmetic Surgery. Patients considering laser tattoo removal are encouraged to request a consultation appointment with our cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Patrick C. Obasi, to determine if they are a good candidate.

Patients consulting with Dr. Patrick C. Obasi will find that they can learn a lot from him regarding the process of removing unwanted tattoos and the technology used to achieve the results. The Enlighten III laser device is used on the tattoo in a series of treatment sessions. The laser breaks down the pigmentation in the ink, which allows the body to absorb it naturally. Throughout several treatments, patients will notice continued fading of their tattoo.
