During this unsettling time, we wanted to reach out to our patients and reassure you of our commitment to maintaining a safe, clean environment at Noble Cosmetic Surgery, because providing a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff has been our top priority. Additionally, please take note of the following:
  • As a cosmetic medicine facility, we typically do not service sick patients. Our patients are electing to have procedures that are not medically necessary, so your risk of running into an ill patient is lower than that of other healthcare facilities.
  • Our surgeries and other treatments are performed in our private facilities that are used purely for elective treatments.
We continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and are actively following the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) as well as our local, state and federal government agencies. Our usual guidelines include universal precautions, frequent handwashing, and frequent sanitizing of all patient areas. For the most up-to-date information, please check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website about this evolving situation, how to reduce the risk of spreading illness, travel health notices, and more.

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Currently, as the coronavirus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person, we have now adopted several enhanced safety measures to decrease the risk of exposure to you and the community which include the following:
  • Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use the hand sanitizers provided when you enter our offices.
  • If you are feeling unwell or anyone in your household may have been exposed to COVID-19 through travel or attendance at large gatherings less than two weeks ago, please call us at your earliest convenience so we can reschedule you!
  • If you need to cough or sneeze, do so into the crease of your elbow, and then immediately wash your hands.
  • Know the symptoms of Coronavirus: tiredness, fever, weakness, shortness of breath and diarrhea. This virus is lower respiratory focused, so you may not have upper respiratory symptoms like a runny nose, sore throat, and congestion.
  • Take these additional preventive actions to stop the spread of germs-(wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces).
We hope that each of you will stay safe & healthy as we navigate this complex situation together.

Sincerely,
Dr. Obasi & his staff at Noble Cosmetic Surgery

Male patients in Plano, TX ask about Botox treatment for aging skin

Fine lines and wrinkles that develop on the face as we age can make many men and women feel self-conscious about their appearance, especially as laugh lines and crow’s feet begin to show. However, not everyone who wants to combat the signs of aging is suitable for plastic surgery. In fact, many Plano, TX area males may be excited to learn that there is a simple cosmetic injectable that can turn back time and allow individuals to age gracefully: Botox treatment.

Understanding Botox

We’ve all heard of Botox, but how does it work? Botox is commonly mistaken as a dermal filler. Dermal fillers are cosmetic injectables that are used to add volume directly to wrinkles and folds of the face to smooth the skin. Botox works differently. This injectable is a neuromodulator that works on the muscles instead. When Dr. Patrick Obasi injects Botox into the muscles of the face, he can reduce dynamic wrinkles and folds that are caused by muscle contractions over time. At Noble Cosmetic Surgery, he finds this treatment to be much more conservative than plastic surgery, as well as more affordable. Botox can be done quickly and easily in the practice and can provide results that last several months before a follow-up treatment is required to maintain the results.

Why choose Botox?

Botox for males, sometimes referred to playfully as “Brotox,” is more common than many realize. Many men in the area of Plano, TX are considering cosmetic injectables in the same way as their female counterparts. Men want to age gracefully and eliminate wrinkles and folds as they develop so they can look their best and maintain their youthful edge. Men might choose Botox for different reasons, but below are some of the most common advantages that Botox has over alternative treatment options:

  •   Botox is affordable and is charged per units used with each treatment
  •   Botox is reliable, and results are as expected each time
  •   Botox is approved by the FDA for cosmetic use and has also been used in other areas of medicine
  •   Botox is readily available at Noble Cosmetic Surgery
  •   Botox is minimally invasive and avoids the need for plastic surgery
  •   Botox provides natural-looking results when administered by a trained professional
  •   Botox offers results that last for several months
  •   Botox will not leave behind scarring as plastic surgery can
  •   Botox can be re-injected regularly to slow the overall signs of aging
