During this unsettling time, we wanted to reach out to our patients and reassure you of our commitment to maintaining a safe, clean environment at Noble Cosmetic Surgery, because providing a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff has been our top priority. Additionally, please take note of the following:
  • As a cosmetic medicine facility, we typically do not service sick patients. Our patients are electing to have procedures that are not medically necessary, so your risk of running into an ill patient is lower than that of other healthcare facilities.
  • Our surgeries and other treatments are performed in our private facilities that are used purely for elective treatments.
We continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and are actively following the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) as well as our local, state and federal government agencies. Our usual guidelines include universal precautions, frequent handwashing, and frequent sanitizing of all patient areas. For the most up-to-date information, please check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website about this evolving situation, how to reduce the risk of spreading illness, travel health notices, and more.

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Currently, as the coronavirus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person, we have now adopted several enhanced safety measures to decrease the risk of exposure to you and the community which include the following:
  • Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use the hand sanitizers provided when you enter our offices.
  • If you are feeling unwell or anyone in your household may have been exposed to COVID-19 through travel or attendance at large gatherings less than two weeks ago, please call us at your earliest convenience so we can reschedule you!
  • If you need to cough or sneeze, do so into the crease of your elbow, and then immediately wash your hands.
  • Know the symptoms of Coronavirus: tiredness, fever, weakness, shortness of breath and diarrhea. This virus is lower respiratory focused, so you may not have upper respiratory symptoms like a runny nose, sore throat, and congestion.
  • Take these additional preventive actions to stop the spread of germs-(wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces).
We hope that each of you will stay safe & healthy as we navigate this complex situation together.

Sincerely,
Dr. Obasi & his staff at Noble Cosmetic Surgery

Plano Residents Learn What to Expect from a Facelift Procedure

If you are plagued by fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, or excess skin, Noble Cosmetic Surgery in Plano, TX has procedural options for you. Dr. Patrick Obasi understands that not all face lift surgeries are the same. With the number of facial procedures available, there is something for everyone.

Facelift Procedure

A face lift may address any of the following issues:

  • Loose, sagging skin on the face or neck
  • Deep lines along the nasolabial folds
  • Loss of fat or volume in the face

FACE LIFT SURGERY

After you have been prepped with anesthesia, the surgeon makes an incision. Traditional facelift uses an incision along the hairline starting at the temple and ending at the lower scalp. An incision under the chin may be made if there is extra skin on the chin and neck. For a mini lift, a shorter incision from temple to ear is used. An incision around the ear and lower scalp is necessary for necklift. Then, fat is sculpted and underlying muscle and tissue is repositioned. Skin is pulled and redraped over the new contours, with excess skin excised. Finally, the surgeon closes incisions using sutures or adhesive.

RECOVERY EXPECTATIONS

Immediately following the procedure, your face is wrapped in a bandage to minimize bruising and swelling. A drain may be placed to remove excess blood and fluid. Remember to follow your doctor’s orders after surgery for the best results and to reduce risk of complications. Most bruising and swelling subside within two weeks. Full results, meaning a face that feels normal and looks refreshed, generally occur within three months. Be sure to ask your doctor any specific questions regarding recovery.

Dr. Patrick Obasi offers several face lift and rejuvenating options. Take the first step toward a more youthful face. Call Noble Cosmetic Surgery at 214 - 617-1672.
