During this unsettling time, we wanted to reach out to our patients and reassure you of our commitment to maintaining a safe, clean environment at Noble Cosmetic Surgery, because providing a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff has been our top priority. Additionally, please take note of the following:
  • As a cosmetic medicine facility, we typically do not service sick patients. Our patients are electing to have procedures that are not medically necessary, so your risk of running into an ill patient is lower than that of other healthcare facilities.
  • Our surgeries and other treatments are performed in our private facilities that are used purely for elective treatments.
We continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and are actively following the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) as well as our local, state and federal government agencies. Our usual guidelines include universal precautions, frequent handwashing, and frequent sanitizing of all patient areas. For the most up-to-date information, please check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website about this evolving situation, how to reduce the risk of spreading illness, travel health notices, and more.

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Currently, as the coronavirus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person, we have now adopted several enhanced safety measures to decrease the risk of exposure to you and the community which include the following:
  • Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use the hand sanitizers provided when you enter our offices.
  • If you are feeling unwell or anyone in your household may have been exposed to COVID-19 through travel or attendance at large gatherings less than two weeks ago, please call us at your earliest convenience so we can reschedule you!
  • If you need to cough or sneeze, do so into the crease of your elbow, and then immediately wash your hands.
  • Know the symptoms of Coronavirus: tiredness, fever, weakness, shortness of breath and diarrhea. This virus is lower respiratory focused, so you may not have upper respiratory symptoms like a runny nose, sore throat, and congestion.
  • Take these additional preventive actions to stop the spread of germs-(wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces).
We hope that each of you will stay safe & healthy as we navigate this complex situation together.

Sincerely,
Dr. Obasi & his staff at Noble Cosmetic Surgery

What to Expect from a Tuba Breast Enlargement Surgery in Plano, TX

Women elect to have breast enlargement surgeries for many reasons – fuller, more symmetrical breasts, shirts that fit better, increased self-confidence, and more. Dr. Patrick Obasi of Noble Cosmetic Surgery offers different techniques as well as implant styles and materials, giving women in Plano, TX options to suit their goals.

Tuba Breast Enlargement Surgery

Traditional implant surgeries are performed with incisions in the armpit, under the breast or around the nipple. A trans-umbilical breast augmentation (TUBA) uses an approximately 2cm incision made at the navel. A pocket is created under the skin and muscle. Empty saline implants are inserted and implanted in the breast cavity where they can be filled. The entire procedure is done under anesthesia and takes less than an hour.

Advantages

This revolutionary procedure allows women to get the look they desire without the downtime or the scarring associated with traditional implant surgeries. There are benefits of a TUBA procedure:

  • No scarring is located near the breast. Because the incision is only 2cm and is at the navel, any scarring that occurs is minimal.
  • There is less chance of losing sensation in the nipple.
  • Patients have less discomfort, more ability to move their arms and generally can return to their normal activity quickly.

Disadvantages

As with any procedure there are disadvantages as well. With an incision at the belly button, only saline implants can be used. Silicone implants are pre-filled and cannot be compressed to be inserted into such a small opening. Only the initial procedure can performed at the navel. If a future surgery is needed for any reason, a traditional incision is required.

If you want larger breasts without the scar, consider a TUBA procedure. Contact Dr. Patrick Obasi at Noble Cosmetic Surgery in Plano, TX to discover your breast enlargement options. Schedule your consultation today. 214 - 617-1672
