• Arch wires: These attach to the brackets and guide the movement of the teeth.
• Buccal tubes: Holds the end of the archwire in place.
• Other components: Some other items are used in certain situations but not all. Bands, spacers, ties, springs, facebow headgear, can all be used to meet individual needs and goals.
