How do braces work?

Components of braces:
- Brackets: Small squares that we bond directly to the front of your teeth. They hold the wires that move the teeth.
- Arch wires: These attach to the brackets and guide the movement of the teeth.
- Buccal tubes: Holds the end of the archwire in place.
- Other components: Some other items are used in certain situations but not all. Bands, spacers, ties, springs, facebow headgear, can all be used to meet individual needs and goals.
