She hold 11 advanced certifications including being certified as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA). In this interview Gary and Tija discuss the importance of continuing education for dental assistants, the benefits of belonging to the American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA), the value to the dental practice of an educated dental assistant and how dental assisting can be such a rewarding career path. Dental Assistants are often the ‘unsung heroes’ of a thriving practice and Tija’s interview helps us all have greater appreciation for these amazing Team members!
